About the Role

We're seeking a
Community & Membership Coordinator
who's energised by meeting people, building relationships, and helping organisations connect into Victoria's innovation ecosystem.

Your mission will be to grow membership for the CDH Clubhouse — our community for startups, scale-ups, and corporates looking to collaborate. You'll engage new members, nurture relationships, and help develop partnerships that expand CDH's reach and impact.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys being out in the ecosystem, attending events, and turning conversations into lasting connections.

What You'll Do

  • Drive new memberships
    — Identify, engage, and onboard new corporate and startup members for the Clubhouse community.
  • Build relationships across the ecosystem
    — Develop trusted relationships with founders, investors, and innovation leads across industry.
  • Create and support strategic partnerships
    — Help identify and nurture new partnerships that support CDH's growth and member base.
  • Represent CDH externally
    — Attend and host events across the ecosystem, acting as an ambassador for the Hub.
  • Collaborate internally
    — Work closely with the events lead and GM to ensure members are connected into CDH's broader initiatives.

About You

  • You're a natural connector who enjoys building relationships and spotting collaboration opportunities.
  • You're genuinely interested in startups, innovation, and technology.
  • You're proactive and comfortable reaching out to new people — from founders to corporate leaders.
  • You're organised and follow through on conversations and leads.
  • You enjoy working in fast-paced, community-driven environments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in business development, partnerships, or community engagement in a startup, coworking, or innovation setting.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Notion, OfficeRnD and Slack.
  • Event or partnership coordination experience.
