Project Manager /Program Manager /Project Support officer
for Canberra location .

1- Project Manager

Essential criteria

1.A minimum of 5 years Project Management experience in delivery of complex business and/or technical projects.

• Demonstrated experience working with and influencing internal and external stakeholders and partners to plan and successfully deliver programs and projects within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.

• Demonstrated experience with program governance, including planning, financials, reporting, risks and issues, dependency management, etc.

• Demonstrated experience in mapping dependencies across projects and programs, as well as scheduling initiatives within a program of work.

• Ability to use, adapt, and work across various delivery methodologies to successfully deliver program outcomes (such as waterfall, Agile, hybrid).

2.Demonstrated ability to build and lead several multi-disciplinary teams to effectively deliver results and positively respond to change.

• Ability to build and promote program vision and to develop a collaborative team culture.

• Demonstrated ability to engage and manage third-party vendors and contracts to ensure successful delivery of requirements.

3.Well-developed communication skills.

• Experience in developing and presenting Board papers and briefing materials SES audiences.

• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
• Demonstrated personal resilience and flexibility to deal with ambiguity and conflicting priorities to successfully deliver under pressure within a challenging environment.

Desirable criteria

1.Experience working within a small to medium sized Federal Government agency.

2.Project management qualifications and certification are highly desirable.

3.Knowledge of Essential Eight, ISM, and Security Maturity requirements will be highly regarded.

4.Experience working within an Intelligence agency.

2- Sr ICT Project Support Officer -

Key duties and responsibilities

The successful candidate/s are expected to:

• A minimum of 5 years Project Officer experience.
• Experience working within a small to medium sized Federal Government agency.
• Work with project teams to administer and coordinate a range of program/project activities including the production, delivery and management of project schedules, budgets, reporting requirements, delivery of project artefacts, and identification and resolution of issues.
• Act as the point of contact for stakeholders, displaying high level interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships and liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Identify and manage project changes in accordance with established processes and standards.
• Use, adapt, and work across various delivery methodologies (Prince2, MSP, Agile, SAFe, Hybrid).
• Manage several projects, priorities, and tasks as delegated.
• Understanding of Commonwealth Procurement Rules
• Experience coordinating end-to-end Federal Government procurement activities
• Display resilience and flexibility to deal with ambiguity and conflicting priorities to successfully deliver under pressure within a challenging environment.
• Provide Secretariat support for Working Groups and Steering Committees.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as directed by the Project Manager and/or Enterprise Portfolio Management Office.
• Experience working on projects within an Intelligence space is beneficial.
