The Opportunity

As the Senior Piling Supervisor at Queensland Civil Solutions, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the piling operations for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects Australia wide. This is a full-time position based out of our Brisbane office, or can be also FIFO pending on the applicate and provides an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in a growing and dynamic organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise a team under different piling codes for different government bodies. EG - MRTS 63 and further on. To ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and on schedule
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to develop and implement detailed piling plans
  • Ensure all piling activities comply with relevant safety regulations and company policies
  • Monitor and report on productivity, efficiency and quality metrics for the piling work
  • Provide on-site guidance and training to less experienced piling crew members
  • Collaborate with the wider construction team to optimise workflow and overcome any challenges
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the piling operations
  • Have an understanding of bored pile, CFA and driven piling types or have high exposure in at-least two techniques

What We're Looking For

  • At least 5 years of experience as a piling supervisor or foreperson in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of piling techniques, equipment and safety protocols
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team to deliver high-quality results
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders
  • Relevant qualifications in civil engineering, construction management or a related field
  • Proven track record of delivering piling projects to time and budget
