Salary Range: $110k-$140k ex super (dependent on experience)

Role Description

The Implementation Consultant plays a vital role in translating customer requirements into tailored platform configurations. Acting as a key customer liaison, this role combines business analysis, solution configuration, and stakeholder communication to deliver robust, scalable insurance product implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse, and interpret customer requirements into actionable platform configurations
  • Design insurance product models, workflows, document templates, and business logic
  • Configure user interfaces and user journeys using platform tools
  • Implement business rules and financial calculations via
    internal scripting language (Groovy)
  • Prepare and manage
    client-facing
    documentation and testing artifacts
  • Lead project communications, updates, and stakeholder coordination
  • Monitor and report on scope, risk, and change management items

Requirements

Must-Haves:

  • Technical consulting experience (scripting and configuration) - Java, Python, SQL
  • Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience in both
    Agile
    and
    Waterfall
    project environments
  • Ability to create detailed technical and business documentation
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience in general insurance
  • Degree qualified or equivalent professional experience
