About the Company

MYMAX is a boutique education, business advisory and growth capital company. We focus on supporting the owners of private businesses with revenues between $5m - $100m.

The company started in 2008 focusing on extreme growth and exit. Clients have included Lorna Jane (capital raise and US market entry strategy), Princess Polly (Growth Capital), Roza's Gourmet Delights (Exit) and over 350 Owner Managed private companies.

MYMAX is also home to the prestigious Owner Manager Program originally established in partnership with the University of Queensland and the International Centre of Entrepreneurship in NZ (The Icehouse).

The Owner Manager Program is exclusive to business owners from mid-sized companies and has been running for over 12 years. It has a Net Promoter Score of 93 and drives lasting change and wealth for business owners.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to represent a highly regarded organisation in a role that offers exceptional flexibility. You'll take the lead in driving business growth by:

  • Generate leads and build new connections through proactive outreach and networking
  • Share the value of MYMAX programs with business owners
  • Represent MYMAX at events, conferences, and forums
  • Build strong relationships with owners and partners
  • Collaborate with our advisory team to ensure outstanding client experiences

About You

You are a proactive and results-driven individual. You'll shine in this role if you're:

  • A proven hunter and networker: Your ability to connect and build relationships is second to none while not being pushy.
  • Business-savvy: A background in business, B2B sales experience or working with business owners will be a huge advantage.
  • Proactive and resourceful: You can spot opportunities others might miss and have the drive to act on them.
  • Confident and professional: You're polished, well-presented, and comfortable engaging with business owners face-to-face and over the phone.
  • An excellent communicator: You have strong verbal and written communication skills and can craft professional, compelling emails, proposals, and other materials.
  • Results-oriented: Your ability to connect with people leads to tangible outcomes.
