You will be responsible for managing the Facilities Maintenance contracts across multiple clients and facilities ensuring the efficient and consistent operation of each facility is achieved.  You will liaise with contractors to appropriately manage the statutory, preventative, and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with contractual requirements.

As a Facilities Manager you will work with a range of stakeholders including our inhouse engineering team, external contractors, clients and tenants.  The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, show initiative, and have the ability to work independently but also as part of a larger team, and to multitask and manage your time to meet deadlines.

  • You will ideally bring considerable industry experience in the Facilities or building services maintenance sector coupled with a relevant trade qualification.
  • Prior experience with Building Management Control (BMS) systems would be an asset to this role.
  • Your passion will thrive in an environment where building performance is a key element of JMG's Building Services Group.
  • You must be well organised and have a proactive work ethic that ensures action items are monitored and completed on time.
  • Intermediate IT skills are desirable with experience using the Office 365 suite.

The Role Snapshot:

  • Management of statutory, preventative and corrective maintenance obligations across various facilities and clients.
  • Assist in the compiling of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for relevant maintenance activities.
  • Proactive management of maintenance contractors in accordance with contractual requirements and the day to day operations of each facility.
  • Ensure each building's energy, service systems and comfort performance are maintained efficiently and in line with our client's expectations.
  • You will provide life cycle asset management and maintenance advice across various building services disciplines utilising the inhouse resources to deliver a quality outcome for our clients.
