We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Director to join this beautiful and well-loved childcare service in Manly Vale. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a warm, supportive centre where your leadership truly matters.

In this role, you'll float across the service to support and guide educators, while working closely with the Centre Director on daily operations. You'll help strengthen practice, uplift your team, and contribute to a positive, high-quality environment for children and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Centre Director with day-to-day operations and administration.
  • Provide a supportive working environment where Educators can focus on creating a safe, secure and expressive learning space for children.
  • Building long-lasting relationships with team members and families, keeping them informed of upcoming events
  • Contributing to the service being a great place to work, and fantastic place for learning and exploration for children.
  • Support and lead your team, building strong bonds with the children and Educators.

What We're Looking For:

  • A completed Diploma or ECT in Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • A great understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Framework
  • Strong 2IC experience
  • Full Working Rights (Must be able to work full-time)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development.
