Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role for a Communications & PR Director at ÉCHO Communication in Sydney, NSW.
- Primary focus on management of our beauty and wellness brands
- This role requires a minimum of 3-5 years in a similar position and someone able to work in a fast paced environment as well as adapt and pivot quickly whilst keeping an excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with premium and masstige beauty and wellness brands is preferred
As a Communications & PR Director at ÉCHO Communication you will be asked to develop strong relationships with the agency clients and you will report to the director & founder, Justine Le Bars.
The role of the PR Director includes the following tasks (non limited to)
- Management of our beauty and wellness portfolio
- Day to day management of all aspects of client campaigns and overall account
- Contribute to the strategic development of projects and long-term campaigns for all designated clients in partnership with the Director
- Proposal & strategy writing
- Setting up clients KPIs and managing the delivery of agreed KPIs in partnership with the Director
- Write and design press releases for clients
- Monitoring
- Reporting
- Budget management
- Product send outs and stock management (tracking products in / out)
- Management of regular client WIPs, ensuring key milestones are met and projects are being delivered
- Proactive thinking in regards to the clients' business
- Creative idea generation and development
Media & industry relations
- Communication strategies
- Engage with journalists of the relevant media and influencers / leaders of opinion to maintain their understanding of how the industry works, new trends and apply these to the client as required
- Lead media and influencer engagement for designated clients, demonstrating the ability to secure key and leading coverage
- Leverage key stakeholder relationships E.g. clients, media, celebrities, etc.
Broader business responsibilities
- Develop the professional and management skills of junior team members; provide ongoing feedback
- Lend particular skills, capabilities or knowledge in problem solving on behalf of clients or teams
- Ensure brainstorms for all designated clients and for the agency itself are thoroughly planned to create the best creative environment, engaging a wide-range of expertise from across the agency
- Help ÉCHO Communication to develop a positive image in the business community and important to our professional performance
- Actively participate in new business efforts and assist with prospective clients proposals & business development
- Provide leadership in driving a positive and happy work environment
- Be a positive role model for others in the agency
- Maintain knowledge of the latest thinking and practices in public relations and apply these to the clients as required

- Transparently manage budget trackers and supplier invoices
