We are currently filling short shift vacancies (2–4 hours) and short notice cover shifts – perfect if you're flexible, reliable, and want meaningful work that fits around your lifestyle.

About the Role

You'll support customers to live independently and confidently by assisting with a variety of daily activities, which may include:

  • Personal Care (with full training & buddy shifts provided)
  • Manual Handling and Transport Assistance
  • Social Support & Community Inclusion
  • Meal Preparation and Domestic Assistance
  • Accurate Record Keeping

Shifts are generally short (2–4 hrs) and varied. You may also be offered last‑minute fill‑in opportunities and additional hours depending on availability. This role can lead to an increase of working hours and Permanent Part-Time positions for the right candidates.

As part of the onboarding process, you will need:

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check/Yellow Card and a Working with Children Blue Card (if you don't already have these checks, we can help)
  • A current Open Driver's License
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR within the last 12 months or willing to obtain
  • NDIS Worker Quality Orientation - Free to obtain (
  • Cootharinga will be able to assist in obtaining necessary clearances if successful
