Are you a recent accounting graduate or early-career professional looking to grow your skills in a supportive and dynamic environment? Our established boutique accounting firm is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team and assist with a broad range of accounting, tax, and business services for our diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and SMSFs

  • Perform data entry, bank reconciliations, and basic bookkeeping tasks

  • Support the team in BAS, IAS, and payroll processing

  • Liaise with clients to gather necessary documentation and information

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records

  • Learn and apply relevant tax and accounting standards with support from senior staff

About You

  • Degree in Accounting (or near completion)

  • 0–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (internships welcome)

  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

  • Good communication and time management skills

  • Experience with Xero, MYOB, or other accounting software is a plus

  • Working towards or intending to undertake CA/CPA studies is highly regarded
