Marketing Lead – Full Time (Ascend Dental)

Ascend Dental is a growing network of dental practices across the Northern and South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. We're on the lookout for an experienced, proactive Marketing Lead to shape and drive our marketing strategy from the ground up.

This is a newly created, full-time role ideal for someone who enjoys the balance of strategy and hands-on execution. You'll be our first dedicated marketing hire, with the opportunity to make a real impact across digital campaigns, brand development, patient engagement, and local area marketing.

You'll work closely with our directors, business and practice development teams, and our passionate clinical staff to bring our brand to life and help more patients find and connect with the care we're known for.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and lead marketing strategies to support patient growth and retention across the group
  • Plan and manage digital campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads) that actually convert
  • Own our SEO and website content, making sure we're visible where it matters
  • Build and grow our social media presence across multiple clinic brands
  • Support individual practices with local area marketing and community outreach
  • Ensure all marketing complies with AHPRA and dental advertising guidelines
  • Report on campaign performance and make data-driven decisions to improve results
  • Collaborate with leadership to align marketing with broader business goals

Who we're looking for:

  • You've had at least 3 years in a hands-on marketing role, with solid experience running digital campaigns end-to-end
  • Proven experience in content creation and social media management (including writing, basic design, and scheduling)
  • You're confident using tools like Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, and basic SEO platforms
  • You can write content that connects, understand brand tone, and know your way around visual tools like Canva
  • You're self-motivated, full of ideas, and ready to take initiative
  • You're comfortable working solo but love collaborating too
  • Experience in the dental, healthcare or professional services space is a big plus – or you're someone who picks things up fast and has a good feel for marketing in regulated environments
