About the role

Western Health is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Grade 3 Occupational Therapist to join our Acute team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role provides clinical leadership within the acute service, including a focus on supporting acute bed carded patients in the Emergency Department and working closely alongside other Grade 3 acute clinicians. Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality clinical care, providing supervision and support to Occupational Therapy staff, contributing to the clinical education of OT students, and driving service development initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Demonstrate commitment to provision of occupation-based client centred occupational therapy practice
• Have extensive knowledge and experience in acute service provision
• Have strong collaboration and time management skills
• Have experience working in multidisciplinary teams
• Demonstrate consolidated clinical leadership skills
