What You'll Be Doing:


• Fabricate premium ductwork - cutting, folding, bending metal sheets

• Operate laser cutting equipment safely and efficiently

• Create custom fittings - flanges, joints, and specialized components

• Work with advanced machinery - brake presses, shears, forming equipment

• Follow technical drawings to deliver quality results every time


We Want YOU If You Have:

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Australian work rights (Citizen, PR, or full work visa)

· Strong attention to detail and quality focus

· Physical ability for manual tasks and material handling

· Current White Card (Construction Induction Training)

· Valid Australian driver's licence

PLUS ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:

· Extensive ductwork experience (3+ years) OR

· Sheet Metal Certificate III or equivalent with basic ductwork exposure OR

· Certificate II + eagerness to learn with some duct fabrication hands-on experience OR

· 4th year apprentice with duct fabrication background

HIGHLY VALUED:

· Laser cutting equipment knowledge

· Previous manufacturing experience

· Quality-focused work history

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

· MIG welding experience (preferred but not essential)


PERFECT CANDIDATES INCLUDE:


• Experienced tradespeople with strong ductwork background

• Qualified fabricators ready for specialized ductwork focus

• Recent trade graduates with Certificate III and basic experience

• Advanced apprentices (4th year) seeking hands-on ductwork experience

• Career changers with relevant certificates and motivation to learn


The Details:

Position: Full-time, Temp to Permanent (3-month initial contract)

Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:15 PM (Friday finish early)

Pay: $32-$34/hr + Super (experience dependent)

Location: On-site position

Start: ASAP for suitable candidates
