About the role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced RIW Labourer to join our team at Icon Metal in Sydney, NSW. As a fulltime RIW Labourer, you will play a key role in supporting our operations and contributing to the delivery of high-quality metalwork solutions for our clients.

What you'll be doing

  1. Undertake general labouring duties as required to support metalwork fabrication and installation.
  2. Perform manual tasks such as loading/unloading materials, and cleaning work areas.
  3. Assist with the set out and installation of miscellaneous products.
  4. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
  5. Maintain a clean and organised work environment to optimise productivity.
  6. Actively contribute to a collaborative team environment and assist colleagues as needed

What we're looking for:

  1. Previous experience as a labourer or in a similar manual role, preferably within the trades or manufacturing industry
  2. Reliable, hardworking and able to follow instructions with a strong focus on safety
  3. Good physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding manual tasks
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  5. Possess a valid RIW (Rail Industry Worker) card
  6. RISI with current Cat3 medical (advantages)
  7. Must have own transport to and from some sites.
