About Us:  Response Building Group is a construction company based in Murray Bridge specialising in commercial facility maintenance, preventative maintenance and safety upgrades. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional service to our clients. We are currently looking for a skilled and reliable Estimator / Project Coordinator to join our growing team.  This role involves both office-based coordination and hands-on support on-site as required. We complete all work within the Murray lands, Adelaide Hills, and Adelaide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quoting/estimating commercial and small building work
  • Experience in tender preparation and submission
  • On-site measures
  • On site supervision of building work
  • Take off and ordering materials
  • Technical advice and problem-solving
  • Maintain job records, update company portals, create job timelines.
  • Oversee contract finalisation, including defects, manuals, and variations.
  • Excellent time and people management skills, detail and a safety focus approach to work.
  • Communication with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors and suppliers
  • High attention to compliance, safety and WHS policies and procedures

The ideal candidate will have

  • Current trade licence (either carpentry or allied trade)
  • Supervisors Licence
  • Current National Police Clearance.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • Full Drivers Licence
  • Knowledge of WHS regulations and building codes.
  • Proven experience in project coordination within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in preparing cost estimates and detailed quotes.
  • Ability to manage project documentation, permits, and initial setup efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with construction management software or project management software
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
