Full-time | On-site | Bilingual Role (English & Chinese)

Tasmanian Gold Pty Ltd is a modern mining company engaged in gold production and tailings reprocessing in Tasmania. We are expanding our on-site team and seeking an experienced Site Operations & Administration Manager to support the Director with day-to-day site operations, communication, and administrative management.

This full-time, on-site position is responsible for operational coordination, administrative management, supplier and contractor communication, and government relations. The role ensures smooth daily operations at the Beaconsfield site and acts as a key communication bridge between Chinese and Australian management teams.

• Support the Director with daily on-site operations and administrative tasks

• Monitor site safety, attendance, and general operational order

• Coordinate on-site staff, suppliers, and contractors to ensure work plans are delivered

• Maintain communication with government bodies, regulators, and local communities

• Assist with documentation, reporting, scheduling, and meeting arrangements

• Manage on-site administration and basic HR-related tasks

• Provide bilingual (English & Chinese) communication between management teams

• Prepare progress updates and recommendations for the Director

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, responsible, and proactive, with strong communication and coordination skills.

• Fluent English and Chinese (written and spoken)

• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills

• Minimum 5 years' experience in administrative management, project coordination, or site operations (mining experience highly regarded)

• Understanding of the Australian work environment and basic mine safety requirements

• Attention to detail and strong follow-through capability

• Good understanding of government or public relations

• Valid driver's licence and ability to self-drive in Tasmania

• Australian citizenship or permanent residency preferred

• Work directly with senior leadership (Director / CEO / COO)
