ABOUT THE ROLE

A rare opportunity for a well-rounded Architect or Senior Architect with strong ArchiCAD skills to join a practice committed to thoughtful design. You'll play a key role in the development and delivery of complex, high-profile public and cultural projects, as well as prominent commercial work.

The role will suit someone who is confident taking conceptual design ideas and developing them through all stages, contributing to the design vision while ensuring the quality of execution.

DUTIES

  • Develop and refine architectural concepts into resolved design outcomes
  • Contribute to and lead design development, documentation, and coordination phases
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, consultants, and clients
  • Model and document using ArchiCAD
  • Participate in design reviews and project presentations
  • Maintain design integrity across project stages

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Registered Architect in Australia
  • Minimum 5-8 years experience, ideally across public, cultural, or commercial sectors. Over 10 years is needed for the Senior role
  • Proficiency in ArchiCAD is essential
  • Strong design sensibility with the ability to translate concept into built form
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Experience in documentation and delivery on complex projects
  • A detail-oriented mindset with a deep appreciation for materiality and spatial composition
