This client requires a
Senior Applications Developer
to serve as the technical authority for solutions built on
Microsoft Dataverse
(Power Platform). You will be instrumental in designing and implementing enterprise-grade applications, driving solution architecture, ensuring data governance, and mentoring the development team. This role is critical to centralising client information and streamlining compliance-heavy business processes.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design and development
    of complex, scalable solutions primarily utilizing
    Microsoft Dataverse
    , Model-Driven Apps, and Canvas Apps (Power Apps).
  • Develop and deploy custom plugins and workflow activities using C#
    to enforce advanced business logic and ensure data integrity within Dataverse.
  • Architect and implement robust integration solutions
    using Power Automate, Azure Functions, and Web API to connect Dataverse with external systems and data sources.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert
    on Dataverse features, security models (Business Units, Security Roles), and deployment pipelines (DevOps for Power Platform).
  • Analyse
    complex business requirements from compliance and care teams, translating them into technical designs and secure, efficient data models within Dataverse.
  • Establish and enforce governance standards
    and development best
    practises
    across the Power Platform environment.
  • Mentor and guide
    junior developers and administrators on best
    practises
    for Dataverse development and
    optimisation
    .

What You'll Bring

  • 6+ years of progressive professional experience in application development, with at least 3 years focused specifically on the
    Microsoft Power Platform and Dataverse
    (Dynamics 365 CE is highly relevant).
  • Expert proficiency in developing and deploying C# plugins, custom workflow activities, and Power Automate flows
    .
  • Deep understanding of Dataverse entity relationships, security models, and solution management.
  • Proven experience with front-end development using JavaScript/TypeScript to extend Power Apps portals or Model-Driven forms.
  • Experience with
    Azure services
    (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps) for advanced integration with Dataverse.
  • Strong knowledge of solution architecture, ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), and DevOps pipelines for the Power Platform.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex Dataverse concepts to business users and technical teams.
