About the Role

Australian Control Engineering (ACE) is seeking an experienced HR & Recruitment Coordinator to support our growing business in Australia. In this role, you will handle end-to-end recruitment, while supporting broader HR activities such as onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.

This is a part-time role (2–3 days per week), with the strong potential to expand into a full-time position as the business grows.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage the full recruitment process – from drafting job ads and screening applicants to coordinating interviews and onboarding.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and deliver efficient recruitment solutions.
  • Draft and issue offers of employment, contracts, and onboarding documentation.
  • Support employee performance management, including KPIs, reviews, and feedback processes.
  • Assist with employee relations matters in line with Fair Work compliance (performance issues, disciplinary actions, and terminations).
  • Maintain and update HR policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide employee support and contribute to building a supportive, performance-driven company culture.
  • Coordinate staff travel and logistics (flights, accommodation, car hire).

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in HR, recruitment, or a related role – ideally within the engineering, IT, or technical industries in Perth.
  • Knowledge of Australian employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships across the business.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or related fields are desirable but not essential.
