As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced HR & Recruitment Officer to join our team and be a driving force behind our recruitment and people. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play an integral role focusing on recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management. You will ensure that HR processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with the company's values and strategic goals

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes including job advertisements, screening, interviewing, and reference checks
  • Maintain candidate databases and recruitment metrics
  • Prepare employment contracts and onboarding documentation
  • Conduct employee inductions and ensure smooth integration
  • Manage exit interviews and offboarding procedures
  • Assist with compliance reporting and audits
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Support performance management and disciplinary processes
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Work Act and other relevant legislation
  • Assist with WHS and workplace investigations as required

About You

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a mid-large scale, logistics, or blue-collar environment.
  • Knowledge of Australian employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across all levels.
  • A proactive, results-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Hight attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
