Client Service Coordinator

2 weeks ago

Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia JP Smith Recruitment & HR Full time

Our client is seeking a Client Service Coordinator who takes pride in delivering outstanding service, thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys being part of a supportive, forward-thinking team.

What's on offer

  • Competitive salary well above market, with scope to grow as you do
  • Friendly, collaborative culture with real flexibility
  • A chance to work across multiple offices within the wider firm
  • Ongoing learning and development in a firm that constantly evolves and improves

About the role

As a key member of our clients' Toowoomba team, you'll be the trusted connection point between their clients and accountants — ensuring every interaction is professional, seamless and handled with care. Your work keeps the engine of the firm running smoothly and ensures clients receive the quality and responsiveness our client is known for.

You'll:

  • Build trusted relationships with clients and often act as their first point of contact;
  • Coordinate information and workflow between clients and the team;
  • Prepare and send client documents, including lodgements and correspondence;
  • Liaise with the ATO and ASIC, and assist with invoicing and workflow tracking;
  • Maintain data integrity across systems (Xero, FYI, ABR, ASIC); and
  • Participate in daily huddles, training and continuous improvement projects.

About you

You're organised, proactive, and curious — someone who enjoys learning new systems and finding better ways to do things. You communicate with warmth and professionalism, and you take real pride in keeping things accurate, efficient and client focused. Previous experience in an accounting or professional services firm will be an advantage, but the right mindset — organised, accountable, and client-centred — matters most.

Why you'll love it here

Our client genuinely cares about their people and their clients. You'll join a friendly team that enjoys working together, celebrates small wins with lots of cake and values initiative. You'll be supported to learn, grow and build strong relationships across all their offices — with the structure of a professional firm and the warmth of a close-knit team.
