With key projects acrss Sydney Water, WaterNSW and Hunter Water, we're looking for a forward-thinking Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and collaborate with talented colleagues across Australia.
What You'll Do Depending on your experience, you will: Drive technical quality in water and wastewater infrastructure design projects Produce mechanical and hydraulic designs across the full project lifecycle Manage design on a range of projects or program work packages Contribute to improved client satisfaction and project outcomes Assist in project and design management as needed Mentor emerging team members and collaborate nationally About You Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Eligible and/or working towards CPEng Proven experience in engineering consultancy or design roles (water industry experience advantageous) Technical skills in water/wastewater conveyance and treatment Experience in hydraulic design, pump station design, CFD, and pipe stress analysis Proficiency in equipment selection and specification Familiarity with Plant 3D or Inventor (advantageous) Knowledge of CHAIR, HAZOP, and Safety in Design practices Strong communication skills and ability to prepare technical reports Why Choose WSP?
