Role Description

This part-time position for a Mechanical Engineer is based in Sydney, NSW, with a hybrid working arrangement that allows some flexibility to work from home. The role involves designing and developing mechanical systems, performing research and development, utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software, conducting project management activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The candidate will work on enhancing and innovating our louvre window products through technical expertise and teamwork.

Must have high level of experince with window automation and building automation system (BMS).

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles and Machine Design

Must have high level of experince with window automation and building automation system (BMS).

  • Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and software
  • Strong skills in Research and Development (R&D) to innovate and improve product performance
  • Capability to manage projects efficiently, including planning and execution
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in sustainable product design or a similar field is a plus
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
