ConnectEast participates in an annual international sustainability assessment (GRESB) and in 2024, earned the #1 position for the third year in a row in the motorways maintenance and operations category.

About the role:

We're looking for an enthusiastic
End User Support Engineer
to join our
Information Technology
team at
EastLink
. This role provides technical support across all departments, ensuring smooth operation of ICT systems and telephony infrastructure.

In this role, you will (but not be limited to)

  • Troubleshoot desktop and application issues, performing root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Support telephony systems (including IVR), working with third-party vendors.
  • Maintain system documentation and ensure desktop builds meet standards.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers for updates, patches, and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Adhere to ITIL and Change Management processes.
  • Assist with user account administration and disaster recovery planning.

The ideal candidate with have:

  • A tertiary qualification in IT or equivalent experience months).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with call centre telephony systems and KPIs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft systems; ITIL knowledge preferred.
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail and the ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • A willingness to grow and learn in a dynamic environment.
