Role Summary

We are looking for an
experienced Senior Business Analys
t to support a major separation initiative involving the transition of legacy systems into new application environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in enabling effective
service delivery and service management uplift
in a shared services operating model.

This role suits a Senior BA who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments, brings strong understanding of ITIL practices, and has hands-on experience interpreting contracts and facilitating seamless transitions between legacy and modern platforms.

Contract Summary

Rate: Based on experience

Start Date: 1st September 2025

Duration: Initial 2-month contract with strong likelihood of extension

Location: Ringwood-based hybrid role (anchor onsite day every Thursday – some flexibility required)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement service management planning aligned with ITIL best practices
  • Interpret and analyse contractual agreements to support operational and service decisions
  • Support the separation and migration of systems from legacy platforms into modern applications
  • Operate effectively in a shared services model, where the entity transitions into a vendor role
  • Perform ongoing business analysis activities within a fast-paced project delivery environment
  • Work closely with teams to ensure service delivery expectations are captured, planned, and transitioned effectively
  • Engage stakeholders to gather, analyse, and validate business requirements
  • Document current and future state processes, use cases, and business workflows
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions with technical and non-technical teams
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for implementation teams
  • Contribute to solution design, testing support, and change impact assessments
  • Assist in the development of user documentation, training materials, and communications

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in complex transformation or system separation projects
  • Strong understanding of ITIL-based service management and service delivery frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and interpret commercial agreements or contracts
  • Experience working in environments with shared service or vendor-client models
  • Skilled in delivering business and systems analysis across both project and BAU streams
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, particularly within service-oriented environments
