is undertaking a 10-year infrastructure program to renew, expand & build infrastructure to support a more sustainable, resilient, and efficient water network for Sydney's growing population. About The Role
The main responsibility of this role is to lead the development and application of expert time-based insights to support Infrastructure Delivery performance management. The role will provide subject matter expertise in scheduling data and project timelines to ensure accurate, consistent, and accessible time-related performance information is reflected in systems and reports. By working closely with the system and reporting teams, as well as project controls and delivery teams, the role will support the integration, validation, and improvement of schedule data from tools such as Primavera P6. This role plays a critical part in enabling project teams to identify schedule risks, trends, and opportunities early, ensuring time-based KPIs and performance reporting support effective decision-making and on-time project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as subject matter experts in time and cost performance data, ensuring accurate reporting and alignment with infrastructure delivery projects and business goals.
- Develop and maintain performance measurement frameworks and KPIs, supporting data integrity and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate across teams (e.g. reporting, systems, finance, project controls) to ensure consistent interpretation and use of time and cost data.
- Translate complex project data into actionable insights, models, and reports to support decision-making and performance tracking.
- Enhance systems, tools, and processes related to scheduling, data quality, and performance reporting, including integration with Primavera P6.
To Thrive In This Role, You Will Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in project management, engineering, or a related technical discipline, ideally supported by postgraduate studies or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years' experience in project controls, scheduling, or performance roles within major infrastructure or capital delivery programs.
- Advanced skills in schedule analysis, including interpreting data from Primavera P6 or MSP, and applying earned value management principles.
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities, with a track record of working across PMO, planning, and delivery teams to shape KPIs and reporting tools.
- Proven capability in data quality and performance reporting, with expertise in designing systems, dashboards, and translating schedule data into actionable insights.
