About the role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Full Time Chef/Cook to join our dynamic team with the Dubbo RSL Memorial Club Group. As a full-time Chef/cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and delivering an exceptional dining experience to our valued customers. This position offers the opportunity to work in a vibrant and collaborative environment, with competitive pay and benefits package.

Various locations - Lake Cathie, Manning Point, Wingham and Dubbo

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to our menu and customer requirements
  • Ensuring all food items are prepared and presented to the highest standards
  • Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Collaborating with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and improve existing dishes
  • Assisting with inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies
  • Providing excellent customer service and responding to any customer inquiries or feedback

What we're looking for

  • Formal culinary qualifications or equivalent experience in a similar role, preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
  • Strong time management and organisational skills to ensure efficient meal preparation
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to upholding food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive kitchen culture
  • Creativity and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences
