A little about the role

Reporting into the Business Support Manager, the Business Support Administrator will ensure delivery of comprehensive and flexible administrative support to the Key Assets QLD team.

Your key responsibilities will include, (but not limited to):

  • Responding to phone calls and allocating messages as appropriate.
  • Undertaking general administrative and reception duties - including: photocopying, filing, dealing with enquiries, and liaising with suppliers, ensuring that all documents are produced accurately.
  • Delivering excellent customer service when communicating with a wide range of audiences such as - foster carers, carer applicants, children and young people.
  • Supporting the Managers and staff team with onboarding processes including set up of mobile phones, computers, Teams calling, conferencing, desktop equipment and issuing staff IDs and swipe cards.
  • Maintaining and monitoring statutory and legislative checks for carers and adult household members, flagging renewals with carers, social workers and team managers as required.

The base salary for this position is $68,330 - $74,554/annum (based on 1.0EFT) + super + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum. This is a full-time, 12-month contract position covering parental leave, based from our Eight Mile Plains Office.

About you

To be considered for this role, ideally you'll come with:

  • A suitable qualification in Administration, Computing, Business Administration or a similar field is essential.
  • Prior experience in a similar role in a general office setting, with a good understanding of effective administrative systems and processes.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and sensitively with young people and adults at all levels.
  • Competent with technology, electronic communications and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability and willingness to travel, including occasional stays away where necessary.
