As a Procurement Category Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering commercial outcomes through strategic sourcing, supplier management, and procurement initiatives that drive long-term impact. This is a highly visible role where you'll partner with senior leaders across the HCF Group to deliver best-in-class procurement strategies.

What you'll do

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned procurement categories, developing and executing strategies that deliver measurable value.
  • Manage a pipeline of procurement initiatives and deliver projects from sourcing through to contracting and implementation.
  • Drive supplier management activities, rolling out frameworks across spend categories to improve performance and outcomes.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, tender evaluations and key initiatives with a results-focused approach.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders, acting as a trusted business partner to deliver positive outcomes.
  • Provide actionable insights on supply markets, spend, opportunities and risks to support decision-making.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of procurement frameworks, processes and infrastructure to embed continuous improvement.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Information Technology or related field.
  • 3-5 years' experience in mid to senior procurement roles (Category Manager or above).
  • Industry certification or membership (e.g. CIPS).
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with a proven ability to deliver cost savings and value.
  • Advanced knowledge of procurement practices and vendor value management.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
  • Data-driven approach with the ability to analyse spend, performance, opportunities and risks.
  • Understanding of customer experience and customer centricity principles.
