Overview

Looking to kickstart your career in Information Technology? Gallagher Bassett's Brisbane office is offering a 6-week paid IT internship in January 2026

As part of a global leader in insurance and risk management, you'll work alongside experienced IT professionals, develop valuable technical skills, and contribute to innovative solutions that support our business and clients.

How you'll make an impact

At Gallagher Bassett (GB), our IT and Applications teams play a critical role in driving innovation and ensuring seamless technology solutions. As an IT intern, you'll:

• Assist with IT  and applications support and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations across the organisation.
• Work on projects involving system upgrades, software development, and process automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technology solutions.
• Gain hands-on experience with IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data management.

What You'll Gain

Key Criteria

• You're scheduled to complete your studies in 2027 or later.
• You're available from 12 January to 20 February 2026.
• You're a domestic or international student with full Australian working rights.
• We strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
