A highly regarded interior design practice known for refined, bespoke residential work is seeking an accomplished senior interior designer to join their close-knit team. They are looking for a technically strong interior designer who brings precision, creativity, technical skills and a collaborative approach to every project. This role offers the chance to shape bespoke homes from concept to completion in a supportive, design-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop design concepts, spatial planning and interior architecture across high-end residential projects
  • Produce technical drawings such as joinery documentation, detailing and lighting and electrical plans
  • Create polished presentations, mood boards and client-ready design presentations
  • Coordinate with consultants, suppliers and trades to uphold design intent throughout delivery
  • Attend site, review shop drawings and assist with design or construction queries

Skills & Experience

  • Relevant tertiary requirements
  • Minimum 5 years professional experience in high-end residential design with solid understanding of building regs
  • Strong technical skills in CAD software such as Revit, ArchiCAD, AutoCAD or SketchUp, as well as Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proven ability to deliver accurate, detailed documentation across all project stages
  • Strong communication, presentation and project coordination capabilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisation and problem-solving within evolving site conditions
