A design-led studio known for its innovation, collaborative spirit, and award-winning work is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join its Melbourne team. With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, this is a unique opportunity to drive design direction across diverse sectors while mentoring the next generation of talent. You'll be part of a passionate, multidisciplinary team committed to crafting spaces that elevate everyday living through form, function, and creativity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design vision and concept development across multiple interior projects
  • Manage spatial planning, material selection, and high-level design presentations
  • Oversee team construction documentation and technical detailing using ArchiCAD
  • Present confidently to clients, guiding them through key stages of the design journey
  • Collaborate with consultants, project managers, and junior designers to deliver outcomes

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in interior design or interior architecture
  • 5–8 years' experience in a studio environment, ideally across residential and mixed-use projects
  • Advanced skills in CAD software, including ArchiCAD, SketchUp and Creative Cloud
  • Strong local construction knowledge and experience preparing full documentation packages
  • Confident communicator with proven ability to manage clients, internal teams and project timelines
