RAATISC are looking for a committed, skilled and passionate individual to join the friendly RAATSIC team as a Practice and Development Lead, Fulltime, SCHADS Level 5 until June 2026.

Position Purpose:

We're seeking an experienced Practice and Development Lead to join our team and drive continuous improvement across our organisation. This vital role supports professional development, facilitates learning initiatives, and implements evidence-based improvements in service delivery.

Reporting to the Practice and Development Manager, you'll work collaboratively with teams across the organisation to build capacity, enhance practice quality, and foster a culture of learning and innovation.

The Opportunity:


• Support implementation of evidence-based practices and identify opportunities for innovation


• Coordinate training programs and facilitate reflective practice sessions


• Lead quality improvement projects and monitor their effectiveness


• Develop and maintain training resources and materials


• Build relationships with external providers and professional networks


• Maintain knowledge of current research, trends, and best practices


• Prepare reports and documentation on practice development initiatives

About You:

You're a skilled facilitator with strong understanding of practice development principles who thrives in collaborative environments. You're committed to evidence-based practice and continuous learning, with excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse teams.

Essential Requirements


• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience


• Demonstrated experience in professional development, training, or practice improvement


• Understanding of the community services sector


• Current C Class Queensland Driver's Licence


• Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain


• Capacity to travel to remote communities


• Flexibility to work outside standard hours when required

Desirable


• Formal qualification in education, training, or organisational development


• Experience working in similar organisations or contexts


• Understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture
