About the Role

As Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating the delivery of the Business and Skilled Migration program, ensuring alignment with the NSW State Migration Plan's priorities. You will lead the team's workflows, providing guidance and coaching to enhance capability and meet service quality benchmarks. Your work will involve building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders across government, industry, and community sectors to foster collaboration and drive successful program outcomes.

You will also be responsible for managing the program's digital presence, including maintaining up-to-date and accessible web content and newsletters, ensuring communication materials meet NSW branding and clarity standards. Additionally, you will prepare reports, briefs, and correspondence to support senior decision-making and represent the NSW Government at migration forums and events to attract skilled migrants and businesses.

This role offers a dynamic environment where you will coordinate cross-agency efforts, manage competing priorities, and influence policy and program development through data-driven insights and effective stakeholder engagement. You will join our Business and Skilled Migration team within the Industry and Investment branch of the Premier's Department, contributing directly to NSW's economic growth and workforce development.

We're Looking For

  • Migration Policy Expertise: Experience with Australia's migration programs and policies

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to build and maintain productive relationships across government and industry

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in IT systems such as SkillSelect, Salesforce, Excel, and website content management (Drupal)

  • Team Leadership: Experience coordinating team workflows, providing guidance and fostering capability development

  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports, briefs, and presentations for senior stakeholders
