Your next career opportunity
As an Industry Engagement Specialist, you'll bring your leadership to a team developing and managing the Faculty's Industry Project capstone subjects. You'll have the opportunity to establish key relationships with industry partners, creating valuable experiential learning opportunities for science students. Your role will be crucial in enhancing students' employability skills and delivering meaningful outcomes for industry collaborators.
Your responsibilities will include:
Lead Work-Integrated Learning Programs: Manage and l ead the Faculty Industry Projects program, securing industry partnerships and ensuring high-quality administration .
Develop Strategic Partnerships: Identify , establish , and maintain relationships with industry partners, professional bodies, and internal stakeholders to create student opportunities.
Manage Legal and Compliance: Oversee agreements, ensure regulatory compliance, and mitigate risks associated with student placements.
Provide Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and support a small team, fostering a positive work environment and aligning with organisational objectives .

You are an experienced professional with a post-graduate degree, skilled in developing industry partnerships and fostering student employability. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to lead strategic initiatives in a complex organisation.
You may also:
Have significant experience in developing and maintaining industry relationships and networks.
Possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels.
Demonstrate the ability to work independently and prioritise multiple projects effectively.
Have strong communication skills, including report writing and tailoring messages for diverse audiences.
Show innovative thinking in developing engagement strategies for various stakeholders.
Have experience supporting Work-Integrated Learning in a tertiary setting (desirable).
Have prior leadership experience (desirable)
