About The Team
Women's Health Services provide care to women with chronic gynae pelvic pain, menopause, pelvic floor and gynaecological problems, quaternary vulva/dermatology, sexual counselling, communicable diseases and termination of pregnancy. The scope of service includes ambulatory gynaecology, early pregnancy assessment and pregnancy advice.
About The Role
As a Nurse Unit Manager you will be responsible for the management and support of the nursing team to ensure that processes are in place for the delivery of a high standard of care, customer service, administration and overall support to all areas within Womens Health Clinics.
A Regular Day Will See You
- In partnership with the Directors of Women's Health Services, provides strategic and clinical leadership for Women's Specialist Health Clinics.
- In collaboration with the Directors of Women's Health Services, develop, monitor and review the annual service and operation plan for Women's Specialist Health Clinics.
- In collaboration with Heads of Unit, monitor and revies service capability and ensures that we are responsive to changing demand across WSHC
- Maintains a positive leadership attitude and builds rapport across the multidisciplinary team whilst providing visible leadership presence across the service
About You
You will be someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who has the ability to build strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You'll possess a leadership style that is collaborative, positive and engaging, with a commitment to providing excellence in patient care.
You'll Bring With You
- Division 1 Registered Nurse – AHPRA
- High level clinical nursing ability and minimum of 3 years' experience in women's health nursing
- Demonstrated understanding of clinical governance, ability to think strategically and systematic management of issues
- 1 year of relevant management experience
