Your Role

We're on the lookout for a hands-on Chapter Lead to grow and guide our Advanced Analytics team at IAG. This newly created role blends leadership with technical expertise, as you'll lead a team of analysts while actively contributing to projects as a senior analyst.

Your impact will be in connecting analytics capability to real business needs, helping drive smarter and faster decisions. You'll foster a strong team culture through meaningful rituals, mentoring, and technical coaching, while building reusable data and reporting assets that speed up delivery and boost value.

Collaboration is key you'll work closely with business units, squad leads, and technical teams to understand their challenges and deliver insights that make a difference.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity with hybrid working conditions, open to all our offices in Australia. 

About you

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally meet the below criteria: 

•    You bring strong experience in analytics, insights, or data science, with a strong track record of solving complex business problems.

•    You've successfully led teams, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture and mentoring others to grow their technical and analytical skills.

•    You're hands-on with reporting and analytics for digital and assisted channels and understand how to connect data to business outcomes.

•    You're confident using tools like SQL, Python, and Tableau, and have experience working in cloud environments to deliver scalable, efficient solutions.

•    You know how to synthesise data into actionable insights, helping drive smarter, faster decision-making across the business.
