Chapter Area Lead (Executive Engineering Manager) DevSecOps

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for engineering projects aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee the development, deployment, and quality assurance of software solutions.
  • Offer technical guidance and promote best practices, including test automation.
  • Engage with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and leverage metrics for enhancement.
  • Mentor and develop engineering team members.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and problem-solving.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience with modern testing frameworks like BDD and TDD, including large-scale test modernization.
  • Proven leadership in software engineering roles.
  • Strong understanding of business and technical strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, management, and mentoring skills.
  • Effective collaboration with stakeholders and teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Octopus), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Go, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana, and security best practices in CI/CD.
