The Gig

Reporting to the food and beverage supervisor, you will play a vital role within the venue, providing the highest level of service and supporting the team to achieve outstanding performance. This is a Full-Time role and will require flexibility within your availability. As our newest Converence and Event Supervisor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee Conference and Events operations in a way that maximises efficiency, effectiveness and service delivery, in line with Ovolo standards and procedures
  • Ensure effective and consistent operational briefings are conducted before each service, explaining covers, sections, specials, VIP guests, events and operational requirements
  • Liaise with the whole operations team (F&B, Kitchen, Front Office & Reservations) to ensure every event is a success.
  • Check event rooms and facilities are set up correctly according to guest requirements and liaise with event organisers prior to, during and at the termination of event
  • Interact with and welcome Events Organisers/Contacts on the day, ensuring they are looked after, and the event runs smoothly on the day by liaising with operations as required

You'll need a strong understanding of event setup, logistics, and execution, along with the ability to see how each event contributes to our broader organizational goals. Aligning event planning and restaurant operations with strategic objectives will be key to your success.
