Production Support Administrator

About Your Role
The
Production Support Administrator
will play a critical role in supporting the production team by managing key administrative processes, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. This role requires a hands-on, proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative coordination and support to the production team.
  • Produce and process production orders directly from the workshop floor.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including word processing, photocopying, filing, and ordering stationery.
  • Input and maintain maintenance records, including work orders, asset movements, and service order work scopes.
  • Assist with raising purchase orders (POs), ordering PPE, and managing training and compliance records.
  • Ensure all records are maintained, and QI documentation is collated and submitted to Document Control.
  • Help manage and replenish the Build Line Point of Use (POU) system, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Maintain Build Line whiteboard, Line Walk delayed spreadsheets and displayed documentation.
  • Provide support in Non-Conformance Report (NCR) processes, ensuring efficient closure.

About You
We are looking for an experienced professional, who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and has a strong ability to multitask.

To Thrive In This Role, You Will Demonstrate

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with SAP systems.
  • Good understanding of production planning and quality control principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, including negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
  • Experience in industries such as rail, automotive, military, defence, avionics, or other safety-critical environments (highly desirable).
  • An independent and proactive approach to managing tasks and priorities in a busy environment.
