We are seeking a passionate and experienced Employment Services professional to lead the delivery of our Workforce Australia contracts in the Townsville region. This is a dynamic leadership role offering the opportunity to drive performance, support teams, and improve employment outcomes for job seekers in regional and remote communities.

This role will be based primarily in Townsville , but may require very occasional travel to meet with staff in our outreach sites.

About the Role

As the Regional Manager, you will:


•     Lead and manage high-performing teams across multiple sites


•     Ensure contract compliance and achievement of performance targets


•     Foster strong stakeholder relationships with employers, government agencies.


•     Drive innovation and continuous improvement across employment programs


•     Provide strategic oversight and on-the-ground support during the expansion of services

Key Responsibilities


•     Oversee operations of Workforce Australia in Townsville region


•     Coach and develop staff to ensure quality service delivery and participant outcomes


•     Analyse data and report on performance metrics to inform strategy


•     Uphold organisational values and a culture of excellence and accountability

About You

You bring strong leadership capability and a deep understanding of employment services in Australia. You are results-driven, people-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced, outcomes-oriented environment.

Essential Criteria:


•     Proven experience in employment services or related field  and possess a valid  WWCC


•     Knowledge of Workforce Australia and/or other Employment Services programs.


•     Strong operational and people management skills


•     High-level communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement abilities


•     Ability to travel occasionally to sites in the Townsville region/ role will be primarily based in one of our Townsville sites.
