Working across four farms, you will have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of crop and livestock production. You will have experience or be willing to learn in the following areas:

  • Broadacre winter cropping – 3m CTF of crops including Canola, Wheat, Chickpeas, Lupins, Faba beans and grazing crops
  • Spray and flood irrigation of Cotton
  • Spray rig operation - Goldacres G6 S2 SP Sprayer, Hayes linkage sprayer and Swarmbot sprayer
  • General farm and machinery maintenance
  • Potential for seasonal truck driving locally – Kenworth truck carting grain or cotton
  • Loader and CAT D8K bulldozer operation
  • Livestock management of EU Angus cattle & Merino dual purpose sheep

Working alongside owners and other staff, your key duties will include:

  • Implementing broadacre cropping program including spraying, planting, spreading and harvesting
  • Machinery operation and maintenance
  • Implementing irrigated cotton program including preparing cotton fields, planting, fertilising, irrigation and spraying
  • General livestock husbandry and management

Qualifications & Skills

The ideal candidate must have a "hands on" approach, keen to learn, have excellent communication skills, a great work ethic  and a current driver's license. Some level of previous on-farm experience is essential.

Employment Package

This role offers a secure, long-term position, with an attractive package including work vehicle, accommodation (both for a single person and a family) and opportunity for training and development. Good schools are located nearby at both Trangie and Warren.

Remuneration will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Start Date

The employment commencement date is flexible out to 2026.
