The Role
Responsibilities
As Factory Manager, you will take full ownership of daily factory operations, leading a team of 10 fabricators to deliver projects on time and to the highest quality. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading, mentoring, and managing window & door fabricators
  • Scheduling and allocating workflow to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Maintaining strict quality control and compliance with drawings and standards
  • Supporting prototyping and complex assemblies on the factory floor
  • Collaborating with planning, procurement, and project teams to ensure readiness and efficiency
  • Coordinating timely deliveries to site
  • Fostering a safe, efficient, and performance-driven culture

Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Proven experience in aluminium window & door manufacturing
  • Extensive knowledge of aluminium extrusions and fabrication processes
  • Strong factory leadership with a hands-on management style
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with attention to detail
  • Practical problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach
  • Strong organisational skills to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
  • Software skills such as V6 or LOGIKAL (advantageous, not essential)
  • Relevant trade or management qualifications (preferred)
  • Lean Six Sigma or process improvement experience (preferred)
