About the RoleReservoir Leisure Centre is an exciting and welcoming community hub — and it's growing We've just launched brand new Reformer Pilates classes and a state-of-the-art Recovery Room with the latest recovery technology, adding to our already popular health, aquatics, and Swim School programs.
As a Customer Service Officer, you'll be right at the heart of it all. You'll create a warm and positive first impression for every visitor and play a key role in connecting people to the services that best suit their health, fitness, and wellbeing goals.
In this role you'll:
- Be the welcoming face of the centre – creating a great experience for every visitor with your friendly, supportive, and approachable manner.
- Connect people to our services – from selling memberships and running tours to signing customers up and helping them access our wide range of health and wellness, aquatics, Swim School, and exciting new Reformer Pilates and Recovery Room services.
- Support our community – working with a diverse range of customers, ensuring everyone feels valued, included, and excited about being part of RLC.
- Keep things running smoothly – using Perfect Gym Management, our point-of-sale and customer management system, to process transactions and bookings.
- Answer phone and online enquiries – resolving customer queries with professionalism and care.
Skills & ExperienceYou will have strong skills in:
- Providing friendly, welcoming, and supportive customer service.
- Using point-of-sale systems (experience with Perfect Gym Management is a plus) and learning new software.
- Communicating clearly and handling customer enquiries or problems calmly and professionally.
- Multitasking and paying attention to detail in a busy environment.
- Working well as part of a team and supporting colleagues.
- Current CPR, First Aid, and Working with Children Check certifications.
