Trit House is a specialist furniture retailer with stores in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, supplying contemporary and high-end quality furniture to local and nationwide customers.

We're seeking a Graphic Designer to join our team on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, working two set days on-site each week. The role will commence in early October 2025 and continue through at least March 2026, with potential to extend until June 2026.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work together with the Sales & Marketing Manager and Creative Team to comprehend and execute design ideas that are in line with the company's brand guidelines.
  • Produce visually engaging graphics, illustrations, and layouts for a variety of marketing materials, including but not limited to print and digital collateral, social media content, and presentations.
  • Contribute to the establishment and upkeep of the company's visual brand identity on all platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with different teams to understand design necessities and ensure projects are delivered on time.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging design technologies to enhance the overall quality and creativity of our design.
  • Support the creation of marketing assets, ensuring they are accurate and maintain high-quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a similar field.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Basic comprehension of branding principles and the ability to consistently apply them.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail, creativity, and a strong passion for design.
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a robust portfolio that demonstrates a range of design projects.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and their design requirements.
  • Understanding of web design principles and basic HTML/CSS.
