Multimedia Specialist

Position Purpose

The Multimedia Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality multimedia and graphic design content across digital and print platforms. This role combines expertise in web development, motion graphics, and video production with strong graphic design skills to produce engaging visual communications that support business objectives and brand consistency.

Key Accountabilities & Duties

• Multimedia Production
• Develop and maintain websites, landing pages, and digital interfaces using HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms.
• Create and integrate audio, video, animation, and interactive content for digital campaigns and training modules.
• Produce video and motion graphics for promotional, social media, and internal communications.
• Graphic Design
• Design and deliver print and digital materials including brochures, reports, presentations, infographics, and advertising collateral.
• Ensure visual consistency across all marketing and communication materials in line with brand guidelines.
• Prepare artwork for print production, ensuring accuracy in layout, typography, and colour.
• Collaboration & Strategy
• Work closely with internal teams to interpret creative briefs and develop effective design solutions.
• Contribute to creative strategy sessions, providing design expertise and recommendations.
• Liaise with external suppliers (e.g. printers, media agencies) to ensure high-quality production outcomes.
• Quality & Innovation
• Test, troubleshoot, and optimise multimedia content across platforms and devices.
• Maintain awareness of emerging design trends, tools, and technologies, applying innovative approaches where relevant.
• Ensure all projects meet deadlines, budgets, and brand standards.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Delivery of multimedia and graphic design projects on time and within scope.
• Positive stakeholder feedback on creativity, quality, and effectiveness of materials.
• Consistent application of brand guidelines across all outputs.
• Measurable improvement in audience engagement with digital and print content.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5 years' professional experience in multimedia design and graphic design.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
• Demonstrated experience in video editing, motion graphics, and digital content production.
• Proficiency in web technologies (HTML, CSS, WordPress or equivalent CMS).
• Strong portfolio of completed projects in multimedia and design.
• Knowledge of print production processes and digital publishing.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Workplace Relationships

• Internal: Marketing, IT, Communications, and Executive teams.
• External: Clients, suppliers, media agencies, printers, and contractors.

Reporting and Accountability

The Multimedia Specialist reports directly to the Creative Director / Marketing Manager and is accountable for the delivery of all multimedia and design outputs in line with company objectives and compliance with industry standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $77,000.00 per year
