WA Sales Representative

With our expansion into WA, and the addition of SBA West to our group of companies, an exciting opening exists for an experienced Sales Representative to join our team in Landsdale on a full-time basis.

The successful applicant must possess:

· The ability to build strong relationships with new and existing customers.

· Proven ability to convert leads into sales.

· Technical trade background in mechanical, automotive, or heavy machinery fields is desirable.

· Professional experience in customer management or sales.

· Sales ability incorporating marketing techniques, strategic initiatives, operating plans and budgets will be preferred.

· Excellent communication and time management skills.

· You must be motivated and reliable.

· Proven ability to meet sales targets and KPI's.

· Ability to think on your feet to provide products and solutions to customers.

· Be available to travel across Western Australia and interstate.

· A valid driver's licence is essential.

· Legal right to work in Australia (Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa).

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required for reporting and correspondence.

· Knowledge of the earthmoving, construction, plant hire industries, would be highly advantageous.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

· Maintain existing customer relationships.

· Prospect, establish and build new customer relationships.

· Plan weekly customer calls in the company's ERP system.

· Record and report on sales calls via the ERP system.

· Liaise with production and sales admin staff to provide correct information for customer quotes and orders.

· Achieve company sales budgets/targets.

· Attend and participate in trade shows, events, industry meetings, seminars etc.

· Identify and report on new product and service opportunities, special developments, information and feedback to key stakeholders.

· Travel (intra-state and interstate) is a requirement of this position.
