Senior Program Support Officer

Council is seeking to appoint a permanent full time Senior Program Support Officer to contribute to Council's success.

  • Based at the Philip Street Communities and Families Precinct

About the Role

The purpose of this position is to provide high level administrative support to the Community Partnerships Team and a high level of customer service to both internal team members and the community. Provide advice, support and guidance to Support Officers, while enabling the Community Partnerships Team to form partnerships and work collaboratively with the community, to fulfill the vison of strong engaged and vibrant communities.

You will bring:

  • Certificate IV in Business Administration and/or equivalent demonstrated experience gained from working in an administration/customer service environment preferably in a community service work environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to address complex social issues as first point of contact and high-level communication (oral and written) skills and experience liaising with complex clients, employees, management and customers.
  • High-Level time management, problem solving and negotiation skills to effectively process and address enquiries prior to escalating to the Manager.
  • Proficient keyboard skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and operating corporate business systems.
  • Legally able to drive a motor vehicle in Queensland.
