Senior Front of House and Ticketing Officer
Council is seeking to appoint a permanent full time Senior Front of House and Ticketing Officer to contribute to Council's success.
- Permanent Full Time, 9-day fortnight
- Based at the Gladstone Entertainment and Convention Centre

About the Role
The purpose of this position is to support the successful delivery of events at Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre (GECC) through the coordination of Ticketing and Front of House (FOH) services. This role is responsible for maintaining event readiness in public-facing areas, guiding day-to-day team operations, managing ticketing systems, and ensuring a high-quality experience for all patrons. The position also works closely with internal clients on ticketing strategies and operational planning to drive customer satisfaction and support revenue outcomes.
You will bring:
- Certificate III in Business/Events/Hospitality management (or related discipline) and/or previous relevant experience, knowledge and skills gained from working in a similar position exercising a high degree of judgement, initiative, and confidentiality in the performance of work.
- Proven experience and ability to lead, develop and motivate a team to deliver the highest standards of service delivery and teamwork.
- Thorough knowledge of work activities and operational methods performed in a similar work environment.
- Operation of a ticketing system and corporate business systems.
- Demonstrated skills and experience planning, prioritising and organising work tasks.
- Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse client base.
- Must be eligible and willing to obtain on appointment, a positive notice Working with Children Blue Card.
- Legally able to drive a motor vehicle in Queensland.
