About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Payroll Officer to join our team. This is a parental leave cover role that will be engaged on a max term contract from now until December 2026.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this role is responsible for end to end accurate and timely weekly and monthly payroll processing for 480+ employees including, but not limited to:

  • New starters and terminations;
  • Payroll adjustments;
  • Leave processing, deductions, allowances, bonuses and choice of Super;
  • Preparation and lodgement of Superannuation, Payroll Tax and Workers Compensation;
  • Finance Reconciliations.

Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role;
  • Experience in an environment with multiple Awards/Agreements and shift structures;
  • High attention to detail and focus on accuracy;
  • Knowledge of MS Office skills especially Excel;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Chris21 (Frontier) experience (desirable but not essential).
